The show

  • The series follows three college-aged sisters as they navigate their own lives, make their own money, and rely on each other in pursuit of their version of the American Dream. It focuses on how the conventional view of THE American Dream is unattainable propaganda and how these three first-generation women reinvent the American Dream to suit their own needs so they can achieve the goals that they feel they need.
  • Their everyday exploits working at Finelli’s, a local restaurant, and living in the area around.
  • The series is inspired by the experiences of my friend and roommate C and her two sisters. They are first generation Americans, whose mother immigrated to the United States from Eastern Europe in 1999. I am particularly interested in how their shared experiences have shaped their goals and trajectories, which are similar, but separate.
